La comunicación de las ideas científicas es un aspecto consustancial a al ciencia, cuyas prácticas han ido cambiando a lo largo del tiempo, y encontramos cambios en la comunicación y divulgación de la ciencia desde la Universidad.  Desde la perspectiva de los investigadores, el artículo científico de puede complementar con la nota de prensa. Existen otros medios de comunicar la ciencia a la sociedad, como la publicación en web y a través de las redes sociales. En todo caso, es preciso entender como se informa sobre ciencia en un medio de comunicación en particular. Colloque international: De la terreur à l'extrême violence, du 8 au 10 décembre 2011, Belgrade Birkbeck College: In 2004, Douzinas set up the Birkbeck Institute for the Humanities and became its Director in 2008. Douzinas is well known for his work in Human Rights, Aesthetics, Critical Jurisprudence, Postmodern Legal Theory and Political Philosophy. He was deeply involved in the British Critical Legal Studies Movement from the outset.
